Work Hike Video
It may take me a while to prepare my entry for the July 4th work hike; there was a lot of great strategy and leadership and hard work, not to mention fungus and flowers and arachnids and a beautiful little orange salamander. But for now, here's the video I took. It shows the results of about eighteen person-hours of work.

Considering that the link trail cuts through "unique" and "wildlife management areas" ,I don't feel this is a good idea. I don't like the idea of people trampling these areas to look for trinkets. I'm 33 years old and I love hiking these trails and I know many people my age and younger who share my love for hiking. I think the problem is that people don't realize that these trails exist! Most people in the areas of the "link trail" don't know the trail is there ; even a landowner I ran into forgot that the trail was there!
